History Cafe: Wing Luke—Champion of Civil Rights (MOHAI)

Join panelists Bettie Luke, Ron Chew, and Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson for a discussion of the life and legacy of Wing Luke (1925-1965), the first Asian American elected to office in the Pacific Northwest. In his positions as an Assistant Attorney General and Seattle City Council member, Wing Luke had a powerful and lasting impact on the advancement of civil rights in our region.
