Honoring Our Chinese American Veterans

November 13, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

On this Veterans Day, we salute all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, especially our Chinese American WWII veterans.

Nearly 20,000 Chinese Americans served during World War II in every theater and every branch of the United States Armed Forces. Despite barriers to citizenship and equality, they served with dignity and honor while facing discrimination and prejudice at home and in the military.

C.A.C.A. Seattle and the Seattle Regional Chinese American World War II Veterans Congressional Gold Medal Committee will be celebrating our Chinese American WWII Veterans this Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. Due to local health policies and limited seating, this event is sold out.

This event honoring the living and deceased Chinese American WWII Veterans from Washington State with the presentation of the United States Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian award.
