Pacific Northwest History Conference
September 30, 2022 @ 8:00 am - October 1, 2022 @ 5:00 pm
The Pacific Northwest History Conference connects history enthusiasts, scholars, students, public historians, archivists, educators, preservationists, and others. The 2022 conference explores how skills such as intuition and storytelling play a role in uncovering the past and communicating history to diverse audiences.
Arrive ahead on Thursday, September 29 for the pre-conference tour of Hanford’s B Reactor National Historic Landmark—part of the top-secret WWII Manhattan Project. Stay through the closing event, Rabbits and Rivers: An evening of language, stories, and river memories, at Sacagawea Historical State Park in Pasco. Get all the details on the conference webpage.
Anyone can attend the conference—all are welcome!
Through July 31, early bird registration rates are available for everyone! And, Washington State Historical Society and Oregon Historical Society members, students, K-12 educators, and contingent faculty receive discounts.
K-12 educators can earn professional development credit for participation, too!
