Skandia Ball

We will have many beginner friendly dances as well as the long-time Skandia favorites. To make it even more Beginner Friendly we will have a quick session of teaching during the 6-7pm social hour, and some very quick instruction during the Ball itself. So bring some friends new to Scandinavian dancing and show them why we love it so much.
This year we are very pleased to have a visiting ensemble from Sweden to play a set for the Ball, plus our talented local musicians as well. There will also be an Allspel – musicians, watch this website and check your emails, Allspel leader Leslie Foley will be sending out the list of tunes for the Allspel.
The Allspel rehearsal starts at 5pm. Socializing is from 6pm to 6:55pm, when the Call to Dance will sweep you ON to your feet for the Grand March, and then dancing until 11pm. Don’t miss it!
