The film follows the journey of Ricki’s return to China to live with her long-lost birth parents during a summer vacation. It is a poignant tale of trauma and secrets that surround a family’s struggles against a backdrop of culture, politics, and gender.
The filmmaker, Dr. Changfu Chang, along with Ricki and her parents, will be present. Free with museum admission and for Members; $8 for just the film.
